The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 ¾ is by Sue Townsend, who was one of Britain’s bestselling authors of the 1980’s. It is the first book in a series about Adrian Mole. The book is a diary written by Adrian Mole. He is the main character; a normal teenage boy. Throughout the book Adrian is in love with a girl called Pandora, a feminist who goes to his school. Adrian believes that he is an undiscovered intellectual.

Then is a great historical fiction by Morris Gleitzman. It is the second of two books in a series. The first book in the series is called Once.

Then is set in Poland, in World War II. Poland was a dreadful country to be in World War II because of lots of concentration and extermination camps. If you were a Jew there your life was in constant danger, for the Nazis were everywhere, ready to shoot at any moment.
