 SPORTS EQUIPMENT 2011-12

PE KIT

The use of the following PE kit is compulsory to all students in all PE lessons.

S6 and S7 students may wear sports garments of their choice in lessons but all students must bring the appropriate equipment for outdoor and indoor sports lessons and follow all recommendations for contact sports. Students not following the handbook may be excluded from PE lessons. Not wearing the appropriate equipment will affect students' A mark considerably. 

Boys:

• Football boots (Pupils without proper studded boots will be excluded from outdoor lessons)
• Football socks (black, green or white)
• Indoor trainers with non-marking soles (clean)
• One T-bag T-shirt (available from Reception)
• Rugby/football shirt reversible green/black (available from Reception)
• Shorts (black, green or white, preferably nylon)
• Old pair of trainers for cross-country running
• Shin pads
• Sports socks

Girls:

• Indoor trainers with non-marking soles (clean)
• Sports socks
• One T-bag T-shirt (available from Reception)
• Shorts (blue, black or green)
• One plain white or European School T-shirt
• Shin pads
• Football or hockey boots
• Football socks  green
• Old pair of trainers for cross-country running

All sports equipment must be clearly named and brought in an appropriate sports bag. Showers are available (bring your own towel).

Mouth guards (available from reception) and shin pads are strongly recommended for contact sports. For both boys and girls, a tracksuit/ sweat top will be useful for outdoor sessions.
