Drama Day

From Shakespeare to Heinrich Heine and from fairy tales to multimedia political satire, ES Culham pupils took to the stage of the Schuman Hall on 16th February to celebrate the school’s annual Drama Day, a unique celebration of European languages and of drama that is a long-standing tradition at our school. Pupils are challenged not only to perform but also to understand performances in other L1, L2 and L3 languages, which range from those of the main language sections to Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and Danish. Thanks to the talent and commitment of both students and staff, a full day’s roster of performances demonstrated once again the strengths –and the pleasures – we gain from a pan-European learning environment.
