Hunger is the sequel of Gone , a horror/mystery by Michael Grant. The story is set in Perdido Beach (meaning lost beach), California, which is surrounded by a large electric barrier. Even though everyone over the age of 15 disappeared, more disturbing affairs are starting to take place.
