The overall verdict is: Review Score, 1=Worst - 5=Best

Tony Hawks Round Ireland With a Fridge is written by Tony Hawk and it is a detailed account about an adventure of his.

The main character is Tony Hawk, but there are many other characters that are only involved for a short period.

In the story, after seeing someone hitch hiking with a fridge, he makes a bet for £100 with a friend, that he can travel around the whole of Ireland… with a fridge. While attempting to do so he has many adventures.

The story is written in first person in the past tense “I woke in the morning with a dry tongue, throbbing temples and a severe ache in my right shoulder blade.” This makes the reader feel as if he is getting to know Tony Hawk from his perspective not from someone else’s.

The book has sold over 500,000 copies; other books by him are One Hit Wonderland and Playing the Moldovans at Tennis.

I think this is a funny and adventures book with a strange story line which seems very humorous and easy to understand. It is also well written and easy to read.

I would give this a five out of five because, I really enjoyed this story.
