Our final term in primary school has been a busy one. Much of the focus of the term’s work was on the pupils’ transition to secondary school. Teachers from primary and secondary participated in transition meetings, parents met with Mrs Wood and S1 class teachers and pupils have had a tour of the secondary school. While most of our pupils are very excited about this transition, we also wish all the best to our pupils who will be starting in other secondary schools.
The term saw a number of activities to mark the end of ES Culham Primary after 38 happy and successful years. On 18 June, we were delighted to welcome parents and former colleagues to our concert and art exhibition and we finished the school year with a moving and memorable concert in the Schuman Hall.

The P5 pupils were also delighted to bury their own time capsule in the Secondary Quad.
The final weeks have been an emotional time for our primary but throughout it all, the children and their teachers continued to focus on their academic work as usual. We know our pupils are well-prepared for the next phase of their lives in secondary school and wish them many happy years in the next phase of their school lives.
