School Home Communications

With the objective of improving communication within the school community students will now have access to a corporate email account

‐@esculham.net.

The account will be used to communicate VLE messages, information about S5 work experience; and careers advice for S5/S6/S7, for example. We will also look into the option of communicating the timetable and timetable changes via this email address.

We will continue to use the email accounts parents gave to us for parent communication matters.

Students should check their account regularly.

To access the account, please go to the address: http://webmail.esculham.net

  • Enter your user name (pedagogical login, which was given to all students at the beginning of the school year and is used to log onto any PC in school and the VLE)
  • Enter your password (which is the same as students use in school)
  • Press Enter to confirm ‐ and there you are!

If students have forgotten their user name and/or password, they should contact their class teacher, ICT teacher or the school’s ICT team (Mr James Powell or Mr Soheil Meskini).

You will be able to forward and redirect any emails received to any other account.

Please follow the instructions below:

  • Click options
  • Click create an inbox rule
  • Select new
  • Select [apply to all messages]
  • Select [Redirect the message]
  • Type in the email address you wish to direct your emails to
  • Exit, confirming and saving the changes.

Students must use their corporate email account responsibly. Students have already accepted the ICT guidelines when they first logged onto the school’s ICT system. For your information I attach the ICT Code of Conduct. In particular, I would like to emphasise the regulations for e‐safety.

S7 students will be able to continue using their account for one year after the European Baccalaureate examination.
